Kathy, It is hard when the one you love gets sick. I'm glad you have a back up. Tell your husband to take care of himself. I hope he's better.

My husband is getting over a 3 days virus with fever, chills, and feeling terrible. He started feeling bad late in the afternoon, but his fever didn't go up until on over to the am hours. During the night he was helping me with potty duty and he started having a chill. As he went to remove the potty,,he dropped it on the end of my bed, and it came downhill on me.The next couple of days reminded me how much that he does for me not ever day, or not ever hour, but through the day. Most of it goes unsaid or planned out on my part - it is just now part of my life. It is a fine line for so many of us that reside at home and not in a nursing home. After reading so many of the post,I realize that I am blessed more than some. I am on a medicaid waiver and do have a sitter 4 hours a day. It was just bad timing that this virus hit my 2 sitters, daughter, and sister all at the same time. I am still praying that I don't get it.Kathy in Mississippi
