Hi Lori, The Sirinx Cyst is the thing in the spine right? Like a hollow thing filled with liquid? Years ago the Doc said I have one, but he didn't want to do anything unless it started really bothering me with pain or loosing mobility. The x-ray shows my neck has a funny bend in it. He said at some point I might need to fix it with surgery.   Did you get that storm the other day down there? Out lawn chairs were down the street. Non stop lightning and high winds.   Greg     ------------- My pain and discomfort began w/ abdominal stuff too.  After 4-5 yrs of procedures (GI series, ultrasounds CT scans, etc) with everything being 'negative' ... I finally had an MRI and a lengthy syrinx was found.  I did have a shunt put in but it damn near killed me. The spine can cause pain ANYWHERE.  Cyst or not.
