Hi Diane,
My butt sores come why I was still a rookie and didn't watch out for my bottom the way I should have. Now that I'm middle aged I am able to better guard against getting butt sore. If I do get a sore now I care for the wound so it heals and doesn't get worse. I hope this helps.
