Keep a close eye. Does it blanche when you press it? (turn white). If not, 
be very careful. Stay off as much as possible. If a black spot develops, 
start wet to dry. It is necrous and the black must go, else it will tunnel 
and become toxic. Sometimes Barbasol shaving cream will help at this stage. 
I am dealing with the same problem even as we speak.

Hi Gang !  I'm starting to get a red spot up near my  tailbone area.......I
have not had a sore since intensive care 8 years ago when  1st injured.  I 
know
to do more PRESSURE RELIEVES but should i put  bettadine or anything on the
area ?? Thanks for input I'm hoping I can stop it  from getting worse....I
don't need new depressions now.......Due to wife sick of  being my 
care-giver .
