Praying Mantis, are supposed to be good luck as they are usually out at night, eating bugs. People with gardens pay heavy dollars for a bag of praying mantis. They are shipped in the cool Spring in a cocoon. The cocoon is then hung in the garden to mature. It opens, and scatters those tiny critters all over your garden to grow.
