My wife rescued a gal in a power chair who couldn't get up the incline on the sidewalk on a very busy street.  The gal would not have died there, BUT it was in Phoenix in the summer and the hour or two wait could have been very uncomfortable.  My getting stuck while alone experience was in Detroit in the winter going to class at night.  The snow goofed me up just across from the Hotel where I lived.  A little 5 foot gal came by and got me back across the street and up the driveway.  I learned early that discretion is the better part of valor.  I now prefer to go with a friend and at least a cellphone.  Dave

It behooves anyone to try the max, depending on if they have help to guide
them
and make sure they get back safely. How else will ya know just how far ....
is safe. The key is having someone with you when you do it.

I know I probably mispelled some words.  My fingers just can't keep up nor are they well suited to  this type of function.  Please read for content NOT spelling errors.  If you need a grammar battle, I'm more than willing.  Mom was an English teacher - and never let me get away with anything.  Dave, <-- Broken neck, 1967.
