They're not cheap disc though they're Memorex DVD+R 4.7 GB

I can't get my CD-R Burner to work any more.
It keeps telling me to put a recordable disc in the drive and I've tried a few different brand new recordable disc in but keep getting the same message.
Any one know how to fix this?
