can you inform me on the "alcohol block" you had done?  Did it get rid of any pain/sensation (not A.D. pain) below the level where the procedure was done?  Is it something still done?  The reason I ask, I have terrible pain in my lower intestines, colonoscopy didn't show anything.  Also have pain in left hip and knee, if I had to guess, I would say it feels like arthritis.  My doctor has ordered an MRI to check for a syrinx, but I'm having trouble with insurance improving it.

I have been reading with interest the posts on AD.

I have a unique situation.  I am 39 years post SCI, C5-6.  The
other is that I had an alcohol block in the lower spine killing the
remaining nerves in the spine.  This was done as I was so spastic
my legs were drawn up to my stomach.

I get what I believe is AD, but mine is a little different.  I have many of
the
classic symptoms, blotchy skin, clammy, sweaty, etc., but the
concern is the blood pressure.

In example, my BP last night while still in my chair was 180/95, after
being in be for a short time was (5-10 minutes) my BP was 90/60.  It
does not constitently stay high or low. As I write this I have been in
bed 6 hours and high BP, took Ditropan 5 Mg, and the BP goes
down for a while.

Anybody else have this.
