It totally sucks! Nothing makes a difference in the cold burning I
have either. Mine is in my abdomen and back. It doesn't matter if
it's cold or hot outside, it's just always a cold, burning sensation with
needles. It does make me feel more cold in the winter, which is why I love
summer and being in the sunshine. Winter is not fun and I'm in CA, where
the winters are pretty mild compared to most of you in the colder
states.

NIGHT
Does sleeping affect your arm cold sensations? If I
fall asleep cold, (half the time the cold sensations keep me from sleeping)
sometimes I'll wake up feeling much better. Sometimes not.
However, if I wake up cold, I'll feel that way all day till I sleep
again. Nothing else affects the cold feeling. My temperature has
no bearing on it. My temperature can be high or low, doesn't
matter. Piling on blankets and drinking hot beverages makes my
temperature go up but doesn't help the cold sensations. It just
sucks.

I fine this tingling, cold, burning, icy,
pain, is even worse when I stretch my hands even a bit. If I open my
fingers around my opposite wrist, or around a cup. It makes the tingling
cold very very bad. It does get very depressing... Greg

The tingling was so bad, it felt like my arms were between
blocks of ice.
This
exact feeling of my arms frozen solid is really starting to depress
me.
