All that knowledge is fine & dandy but isn't worth sh*t if it doesn't work for some.

That, unfortunately, would be me.  When the Magic Bullet fiasco of 18 months ago (could
hardly get them anywhere, anyhow) I was forced to try something as quick & as good & as
efficient.

Enemeez had me going HOURS (3,4,5...) after insertion.  I was messing the bed with
a wound at the time.  It's unpredictability FOR MY SYSTEM cost me dearly.

Thank god the Bullets are back!

Subject: [QUAD-L] Enemeez, Enemeez Plus and Docusol UPDATE

Enemeez, was first introduced 15 years ago under the name of THEREVAC and
THEREVAC SB, as non-irrating product for bowel management programs.  It was
introduced to the 5 major Rehab Hospitals for Spinal Cord Injury Rehab and was the
only product used for years.  It was easy, quick acting and produced very good
results.
Unfortunately, government insurance, would not pay for it once the person
left rehab.
Gov only paid for Ducolux.
For those with private insurance that approved the product, they were the
lucky ones.
Back about 4-5 years ago, the original manufacturers, in St. Louis, sold
itself to a company in Arizona who remarketed the product at Enemeez and Enemeez
Plus.

The product consists of an emual that is snip'd at the top.  The nozzle is
inserted into
the rectum and its contents is squeezed from the emual and then discarded.
Reaction
time varies from almost immediate to a couple of minutes, with bowel programs
reduced to 15-30 minutes.... for the active, working quad.

The product is consider superior over the Dukes as it generally doesn't
produce
Ghost Bowel movements.... when you are not prepared.

Hope this helps.  Check out their website for additional details.
