I have had shoulder pain for several years even before my injury. I'm
a prime candidate for rotator cuff surgery also so I have to be real
careful. My doctor uses a lot of commonsense with my cares. He wants
me to be strong enough to do what I need to do every day but not to push my
shoulders too hard because as you know if they go we are really in
trouble. When I was working out with some weights, my shoulders were
continuously sore and it affected by driving so, I stopped lifting weights and
now I do some range of motion but mainly I have my PCA's massage my shoulders
either with their hands or my electric massager. If I have nagging
shoulder pain I will take some Alive for relief.
