I know we can get free long-distance by a doctor signing a paper to the phone company.  This might be helpful although I have not read yet.  We're not always at our home phone.  And I think there is in the verification you have to provide through Medicaid card.  Can't exactly remember what I had to provide.  Maybe I'm getting confused with the lifeline feature of a lower phone rate.  I know I have to do every year for that feature.  I think the physician signing is for free 411 on your home phone.

When you need to use the 411/information option, simply  dial
1-800-FREE-411
or 1 800-373-3411 without incurring a charge at all  except for the minutes
required to make the call..

This is  information people don't mind receiving - Pass it  on..

Works on  home phone also.
