I have the zero effort steering.  Not by choice.  The guy I got it from is a para so I'm not sure why he got it.  I was told by the guy that put in the swirl drivers seat and new lift that the company that DORS uses recomends things for vans/cars that people don’t necessarily need to they can charge more money.  Not all paras need lower floors.  I can use my arms well since I am a para and find the zero effort steering is more difficult.  Just barely touching the wheel makes the van move quite a bit.  I am getting used to it though but it's not fun on windy days at all.
