Hi All,     A "friend" of mine, (I've only known her 6 months) who lives in my apartment building comes in and use's my computer AND printer.   I don't mind her using the computer to go on line BUT I do mind her printing out so much stuff.   What can I do to the printer (through the computer maybe) to temporarily disable it while she stops by?      Bobbie hey girl, just come out and tell her the ink is very expensive and please don't print. i had a neighbor boy who did the same thing for homework...printing pictures, he'd leave here with 30-40 pages<---- no kidding. i put a stop to the printing of pictures. his parents had plenty of money to buy the boy a pc for school. especially if they could afford a quad for his 12th birthday. dd
