I kept trying that as a prophylactic but the bug(s) I kept getting were resistant to it.
 
Glad it works for you!  It IS a common suppressant.

I'm also on a bacteria suppressant called macrodantin. I've been on it for
about 5 yrs now, and I probably average 2 maybe 3 uti's a year. Before I had
them constantly.
