I'm in CA and for the first 11 years after my injury I received 9 hours a
day. Then I found out about another program last summer, the Medi-Cal
waiver program, which has given me 4 1/2 more hours a day. My mom and my
aunt are my caregivers and unfortunately the pay is only minimum wage,
without benefits.
