Dan, I lived in Alberta, Canada and the way it works here is the bigger the city of more you get. The smaller the city the less you get. I'm on self-care management. It's better than hiring through an agency. The agencies take all the money and you get less hours. On self-management I can pay them what I want and get more hours. After my accident we moved to the big city for four years. I was getting $3000 a month. We then moved to a small town, and now I get $1800. It's not fair because my condition hasn't changed. Alberta is the richest province in Canada, you would think they could help a little more. Here PCA's get between $ 8 -- $10 hour. So you can do the math. Hope this helps you out.

What's the maximum numbers of PCA hours a day can you all receive including those of you living in Canada and other countries? Dan
