26 yrs post-injury for me. Two relationships post-injury. One for 12-yrs. It ended. Now, I've been married for
8 yrs and deespite rockiness ... still going! Quad or able-bodied ... folks give up to easily in marriages. Stats
are crystal clear.
Your last sentence, Jim, "relates" a little to me but we have damage control even after the most horrific arguing.

This coming June I will be six years post injury and will be married for 24 years. My injury has caused a lot of stress for my family and I'm surprised I'm still married. Having caregivers for the past year has alleviated some of the stress but I believe the damage is done.
