Hi Paul,
A person stands in front of me and I wrap my arms around their shoulders/neck and they wrap their arms around me under my arms, then they stand-up and pivot me so my butt is facing the bed/chair, and then they set me down. Because I only have a left leg the pivot is always to my left, but with two legs the pivot can go either way. I hope this is clear.
