I've used a logitech wireless keyboard for 7 years. It goes about a year or so on 2 AA batteries. I also use a wireless mouse from logitech. Ive had 3 of them. First 2 didn't bounce very well. I change batteries every 3 to 4 weeks and use rechargables. It also takes 2 AA's. The new keyboards have many more features. The mice bounce better.
