So sorry.  Do you think it's particularly more difficult in certain states?

I applied here in Missouri, and if you and spouce make under $75,000 a year , and you are 100 percent disabled..you are supposed to qualify..Well we make under $30,000 but was turned down because last year they said our property tax increases had not gone up over an extreme level-- kind of ironic because we went to a hearing to fight our last increase because taxes on home kept getting much to high and we won for no increase last year. Then they disqualified us from getting any property tax back tho--they find any way possible to keep your money and or make you pay more ...I pay over $2,000 bucks a year just on home taxes alone.                 Dan

In WA I got almost half off
In AZ you can if you have less than so much money and your house is worth x amount or less.
Most states you can if you make less than x amount and your disabled or a senior.

Subject: [QUAD-L] Property Tax Exemption

I saw a post over on the CARECURE forums by a guy down in Florida who said his state offers property tax exemption to disabled homeowners. I checked my state of NV and we have it but only for Vets <darnitall>. Just thought I would pass this on for any other homeowners here that may be unaware of this.
