Thanks John.  I actually met to type Flag Day, but my fingers typed Veteran's Day.
I'm still trying to figure that one out.  Thanks for the info.

It was a time when cemetaries where tring on a new image as a park like place for folks to commune with nature while showing respect for the dead and departed. Verteran's Day was the 11th day of the 11th month and always will be I suspect.  
Memorial day we honor those that gave their lives. Veteran's day, we honor all those who have served honorably. Even if you mix them up a little, I think it is ok as long as you do it with dignity.
