Danny boy,
I'm not a diploMAT, nor do I care to sit in the same city as screamin dean and slobbering teddy, as I'd be tempted to have them and a bunch of others shot for treason..
And why would I be afraid of a dead culture?
Liberals in their true form seem to have disapeared from our society. (Oh I do run into one every now and then) Believe it or not, at one time in my "youth" I considered myself a "Liberal", and I still believe in its original meaning, but NOW that makes me a "moderate".
"Progressive Liberals" are like the "funnybone".
Nothing "liberal" about them.

Stunty,

Have you ever considered running for public office? Maybe even the Presidency? You seem to have all the answers. Or are you too afraid of those evil liberals? If so, I understand - bravery only can go so far.

I guess it depends on what you swallow.
"Atrocities"?
An accusation w/o merit.
Enforcement of a "cease fire treaty" violations could have been smoother had FRANCE, GERMANY &  RUSSIA been part of the solution instead of the problem. Would you have preferred a repeat of ignoring the "Treaty of Versailles" violations which resulted in WWII ???

I completely agree. Clinton did his share of atrocities as did many other presidents. Why does congress let them get away with it? Why do we?

>I don't think my country's leaders were right when they went to war in Kosovo in 1999 as a NATO mission.   I saw no reason for the U.S. or NATO to bomb the hell out of Yugoslavia, killing thousands of people and destroying their infrastructure.. I just re-read the facts of the Kosovo War to see if I remembered correctly and still can't see the justification for what President Clinton and NATO did just 7 years ago. But it wasn't "cool" to protest Bill Clinton and Americans have selective short term memory.

Fascism is what put the likes of Hitler and Mussolini in power and kept them there. The people of these countries never questioned their Governments. Kill Six million Jews? No problem my leaders are ALWAYS right.
>>How would you react if Russia decided that Bushy posed a threat to the world so they instigated a preemptive strike (Shock and Awe) killing hundreds if not thousands of innocent civilians and destroying our infrastructure while doing so?
