FINDING anyone to travel with you OR when you get there is mighty difficult. You have to consider the extra expense for them as far as food, lodging, etc. Etc.
All of those sites on the Internet cost an arm and a leg, a head and a torso. IT SUX!
And what are they supposed to do when you want to enjoy your vacation without them? That is, presupposing that you can find anyone willing to go with you in the first place.
That is our biggest obstacle to traveling. It has always had to have been family.
But you know that almost anyone in the church is willing to sacrifice their time and service, right? It just requires finding the right person who has the time and money available to go with you.
So many things to consider.

those who need PCA's when you travel, do you take your own or get temp in place visiting?
if you get temp, how do you find them and know they'll do good?? how much would you pay?
i'm thinking of traveling without family...after i get baclofen pump..(possibly with 4-6 weeks). and not sure how i will do with/without family as aides....
