I have been a quad 9 years this Aug. 3rd, Me and my wife took our 1st vacation since I was injured last year..we went to Memphis and saw many of the area sites and attractions. Each time we take our 2 oldest grandkids age 7and 8 with us. This year was our 2nd trip... we got back from Branson, Missouri last weekend, It was very hot but we survived lol . I had a UTI but took levequin and went on the trip anyway...Branson has a lot of really neat shows and restaurants, we really enjoyed it although next time we will travel when the weather is cooler.We stayed at the Branson Clarion Palace right next to the President Suite room 517 where Ex - President George Bush and his wife stayed in 1992. They call his old room the President Suite now and rent it-------His Suite was much larger than ours with extra rooms too. Too bad hotels don't have lifts for bed to wheelchair transfers but my wife did pretty well moving me with a
slide board.....I was really worried on that issue because here at home We have an over-head bed lift. Vacation is fun but still a lot of work for my wife with me and grandkids, some of the shows we saw were Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede-- The Bald Knobbers--and Kirby Van Burch the world Famous Magician. Has anyone else had any fun vacations or trips this year?
