The Frontier X5 except no substitutes!
I had an old P320 tank and it beat me to death.
I bought a Frontier X5 and it opened up a whole new world to me.
It's an indoor and excellent out door chair for any terrain and I've had mine for 2 years with not 1 single problem except I need new tires on my casters.
I've been through mud, soft dirt, grass, and sand with ease so test drive one and you'll be amazed.

Subject: Re: [QUAD-L] Invacare tdx wheelchairs
In my chairs, I require a chair that can go on grass in my backyard and in big garden across the street and in my neighborhood park area.--- I was reading chair reports that said THIS tdx5 is a great Indoor chair but awful to get over 1 inch threshholds or off road on the grass....is this true? I'm due for a new chair after next January and trying to get an idea on what may be best for me---My 1st chair was a Quickie P320 an old tank that was not the best on posture but worked well. The one i'm in now is an Invacare Arrow ... I set much better in this chair and does fairly good on grass as long as it is not wet.

There is a fantastic interface between the electronics and the motors. In order to fine tune the chair for your preferences and needs, go to your wheelchair provider and ask those folks to help you adjust the settings. It sounds like your turning acceleration is set too aggressively. if possible, ask your provider if you can borrow the controller for a weekend or overnight and fine tune that chair with its amazing functionality.
Good luck and don't hesitate to communicate with me
