I  use a Frontier X5 and grass isn't even a thought I fly through grass.  I have an all terrain chair though and go through soft dirt,sand,mud and gravel also. Turning on a dime and getting into places not possible with RWD or FWD is just a bonus. I tested it for it's all terrain design not it's turning radius.
