Hi Bill,
I thought the same way the first time I watched it, but the second time I noticed at the side of the young man reading on the bench were the words, "Your Best Friend," and when the young lady runs up are the words, "Your Girlfriend." Then as the picture pulls back to the room with the young man in the wheelchair the word, "YOU" appears. That's a pretty cold way to get their message out!
