HOLY CRAP!    I do that every so often.   I always thought it was early Alzheimers of dementia or just getting old or something.  My wife does it too - mostly when I'm trying to talk to her, to get her to do something,  know what I mean?   The good part is - a book lasts me longer than most people !!!
o'c

I have absence seizures.  I'm sure there is a technical name for it but I just sit & stare out into space for any where up to 10 minutes.  No one usually knows it has happened, even me.  Except - There are conversations that I missed parts of & suddenly I am extremely tired.

Have no idea how often but i think it is daily for shorts periods.  I am taking Neurontin for the seizures & pain.  Works OK for pain  but need to up the dose for the seizures & don't really want to.
