Ok.... so what's the answer. Is prevention the best medicine?

There is a girl here that was drinking and playing chicken in traffic and
is now quadraplegic. There is crazy traffic here in the summer when all
the tourists get here and these kids get drunk and stupid and put their lives
on the line. Not only is this girl a quad, she is a bitter one like
it's everyone elses fault instead of her own. Not only did she hurt
herself, but I can't imagine how the person is dealing with the fact that he
hit her and what the result of it is. Drinking can make you do stupid
things, especially when you are young and peer pressure is involved.
