I've had a similar experience when my s.p. tube blocked. I typically get "small" episodes of A.D. with bowel and bladder issues, but this particular time was awful. Major pounding headache, sweating, crazy clood pressure elevation. And yes, the headaches lingered for weeks afterwards. My PM&R doc said that was pretty typical recovery from a severe A.D. episode so I wouldn't worry if the headaches don't go away. However, if you are experiencing a repeat of ALL of your A.D. symptoms time after time, I would talk to your doc.
