I am asking for a quadriplegic friend in Egypt, that has never had a power
wheelchair. He is 2 plus years post and I believe this level is C- 4 5.
Are they usually more than this? I had no idea the going price. I know
most of us use our old wheelchair as a backup. I know that by the time I get
a
new wheelchair, my old wheelchair is barely functioning. Backup wheelchairs
are not provided by any insurance that I know of. My insurance company said
that they will not replace until it cost more to repair than a new one. What
are other people's experiences with when they are able to order a new
wheelchair. I am in Kansas and I deal with the company Apria. It has gotten
much
more difficult to order a new wheelchair
