My new chair was delivered today, all adjusted. It feels a bit strange, but all chairs do at first. I was told they could only get the TDX3, but they got the TDX5. It is so much smoother. No clicking and jerking making minor adjustments trying to go in a straight line. The major differences in my new chair is this one has a seat elevator and a different back. My old back was slightly curved, but mostly flat and square. This one is well padded and the top corners are cut out so it gives my shoulders more room. I can move my elbows back without hitting the back of my arms on my chair back. The only thing I don't care for it an updated upgrade control joystick. It's to big, very long. Has an LCD screen showing the Mode, Miles, Battery Life, etc. Too bulky, I prefer the smallest possible. Less stuff in your way the better. The other noticeable thing is a single center post leg-rest. Instead of 2 individual leg-rests. When you have power leg-rests, you have a motor on each one and have to plug-unplug each one every time you take it off. That makes transfers hard. The single post one can tuck down enough to get out of the way.
I like it so far.The big test will come tomorrow on my big day trip. Greg
