I use Beyond TV / NVidia DualTV MCE TV Tuner with my windows xp pro computers.

this lets me watch 1 channel while recording another, or record 2
channels. I have this setup on 2 computers so I can record 4 channels
at the same time.
I have a digital cable receiver connected to one to be able to
watch/record premium channels. To control the cable receiver I use
the IR Blaster (USB-UIRT) Cable Pack

When there are shows or movies I want to keep, I either compress them
to save space or burn them to dvd.
