That would keep me from using h/c parking. Since my caregiver owns the van and is NOT h/c'd, therefore she cant get a h/c plate. I got a placard to hang on the mirror. Brenda only parks in a h/c spot when I'm with her.

What does everybody else think? i think she probably has a better excuse than a lot of people who park handicap. we need a new system -- the temporary placards are given out way too easily. i think if u want handicap parking you should have to get it on your license plate. i'm sure that would deter some folks. the placards can be abused by family members, friends, and people who have healed from temporary disabilities/injuries. =jessica
