this is on a stretch of main street which includes shops, restaurants, offices, banks -- an assortment you'd see in downtown anytown, usa.
If you were being driven, why not have your PCA let you out in the lot near the beauty parlor then park legally?
there is no lot, just street-side parking and i needed my PCA's assistance for transfers in and out of the vehicle, crossing the street due to poor curb cuts and winter conditions, then again inside the salon for more transfers. plus, what if i were alone or someone in a similar situation were alone? again, it's about principle not necessarily exact circumstances.
