The problem with Tygon is that it's made with PTFE (Teflon). It's been proven theat Teflon can release poisonous gasses when heated. I would not drink through it.

Best Wishes W Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and get several feet of the plastic (or plastic-like) tubing that's used for the water supply line to a refrigerator or icemaker, and cut it to desired lengths. Be sure to wash it good before use.
