Jessica & Paul, are your Great Danes trained as your service dogs?
hahaha no but i wish! i have a hard enough time getting him to listen to me for basic obedience. he's so smart and listens to everything my boyfriend tells him but when i try he usually just ignores me. guess he sees me as part of the pack, not the pack leader. he's actually getting better now. i try to work with him on "sit", "stay", "shake", and "down" and he does pretty well. when i take him out to play i think he gets bored easily b/c he's so huge and i can't throw very far -- if i throw a ball for him he can get to it w/ a few big steps so after a couple rounds he's over it. lately i've been trying to teach him "up" where he puts his front paws on my lap and stands up. he did it for me yesterday -- that's progress!
so the short answer is "no".... =jessica
