Oh, you must attend this event.... at any cost. You won't be the first to attend this wonderful event either. I was there about 4 years ago, for the event and brought with me two fine ladies from Perth, Australia. One was a Co-Director of a major movie and her aid that flew in with her. They were there for a week at the personal invite from Roger himself. I was there to facilitate the transportation for the two women. I feel so stupid for not remembering her name, but she was CP and non-verbal. She used a Liberator to speak and all the way between Chicago's OHare Airport and the motel off campus where they stayed. Needless to say, we all had a fun trip. This girl stuck around for two more day in downtown Chicago and showed her video on campus of the University of Illinois-Chicago Campus. I know she enjoyed her trip too. W In a message dated 4/25/2007 8:03:45 A.M. Central Daylight Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes:
I no longer use a walker much and the wheelchair is more for occasional speed and comfort than need. Just today we went for a long stroll in Lincoln Park. We spend too much time hiding illness. There is an assumption that I must always look the same. I hope to look better than I look now. But I’m not going to miss my festival. ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
