Hi There,

I've been a member of the National Spinal Cord Injury Association for more
than 10 years. Today, is better than it was just 15 years ago regarding
information and resources. Today, with the internet, has create many
difference
sources and discussions for those seeking information. So where does one
begin looking for "Credible Information"? Chances are, you won't find it on a
local level, I'm sorry to say. Unless you live in a major area served by one
of the many research hospitals like.

Kessler
Rehab Institute of Chicago (RIC)
Shepard Hospital
Craig Hospital
Rio Rancho Rehab

Then there is also the Miami Project in Florida.
University of Pitts also has a great program

There are so many individual that have established websites, discussion
boards, reference centers, blogs and outreach programs. Who is credible and
who
is not? Today, the consumer can be overwhelmed with info. Again, credible
or just personal feelings???

Starting another program might be like trying to re-invent the wheel. Its
going to be a lot easier for you as the original pioneers did their work well.

Let's begin with just one reference. Jim Lubin and his discussion boards.
One of the many is entitled,
the [EMAIL PROTECTED] (mailto:[email protected]) . I invite you to
visit, subscribe and listen from those who have been there.
You will gather some great info to share with others.

Best Wishes
