Larry, Good luck with the wound specialist.  You're right, you hate to go but 
you have to... if it doesn't have much depth it should take less time to heal.
Try to stay off it as much as possible... try to get in that mindset and figure 
out what you can do when you're off of it to occupy your mind.  Best wishes Dan
