I personally believe it's a combination of the two, but mindset can sometimes lead to financial independence and therefore the ability to have the means to attempt to this. However, this is not the case in all situations. There are tons of people that have the proper mindset and ability, but still haven't yet been able to achieve the financial independence that would allow them to successfully live on their own.

Christianity says to give way to the spirit and grace then all things will come.
