I agree with Bill, they should be able to do the shoulder strap or the
harness device for anyone needing them.
I have embedded a few pictures of my simple shoulder strap. I used to have
my caregivers put a big chest strap around me, but I find this to be of much
quicker method and when I am going to be out in an environment that has a lot
of hills, it is more prudent to wear the shoulder strap than not.

Please excuse the ugly mug, but this is what the strap looks like when it is
on.

Here is a picture of my niece attaching the shoulder strap down near my right
hip.

Just behind the Quartet bag you will see where the shoulder strap is attached
to the back of the chair. They used a bolt just under the seating plate to
secure the bottom of the shoulder strap.

Man, this picture lets me know I need to get somebody to clean my chair. I
mentioned it to my family the other day and they all said it looked fine. I
guess their standards aren't the same as mine.

I use a shoulder strap now, but I have someone put it on before I get
into the vehicle. I can go all day with an on, but I preferred to usually only
have it on when I am driving. If you would like I can try to have my brother
take some photos tonight or tomorrow and send them to you.

As for Velcro I have a friend that had a shoulder strap that came from
the right side and then went down to his left. It was bolted in down on the
seat and on the upper right of the back rest. How he was able to secure it was
by putting the top strap through a D ring and then attaching the Velcro of the
top strap to itself.
