hello guys,
tim mentioned the word freak and it got me thinking about my first vacation
as a quad. anyway about 5 years ago my gf at the time wanted me to go on her
family vacation. as you can imagine i was very hesitant due to bowell routines
every other day, but shes like no problem i can do them it will be all good
well to make a long story short the place we went was not accessible, the
family members didnt want to accomadate my disability and there i was in a bad
situation. finally as the whole thing was on its final day, my gf, her lil bro,
and mom got in a big fight when i was in the bathroom cathing. i came out
because i heard things being thrown across the cabin just as i came into my x
gfs moms view she points at me and screams, its all because of that
Freak!!!!!!!!!!!
i learned then that prejudice in peoples minds still lives very much, but i
do agree with tim people are forced to deal with us more and in turn we are
being accepted on a wider scale than 30 years ago!!!
