YES, I TURNED IN AN IMS CONVERTED VAN MAY 7 TO NEWBY VANCE MOBILITY (DEALER).
THEY GOT THE CONTRACT AFTER BID PROCESS THRU VOC REHAB. I WAS TOLD 4/6 WEEKS
FOR

ZERO EFFORT STEERING
IDS CONTROLS (EVERYTHING BUT MY RADIO)
ELECTRONIC GAS/BRAKE
EZ LOCKS

THE LAST WEEK OF JUNE THE PEOPLE IN HOUSTON TOLD ME VAN WAS DONE AND WOULD BE
TEST DRIVEN THE WEEKEND B/4 4TH OF JULY AND WOULD BE BACK TO DEALER BY THE 6TH.
THEN CAME THE B.S. ABOUT FLOODING BUT HOUSTON TOLD ME THEY CAME OUT W/ NEW
EQUIP AND UPGRADED ME TO THAT AND THAT WAS THE DELAY. IN THE MEANTIME MY IMS
CONVERSION DOESN'T WORK NOW AND MY PASSENGER SEAT IS MISSING.

Subject: [QUAD-L] Frustration and Van Contract

  Hi Again Nicki

I may have read your first posting much too quickly. After a couple of cups
of coffee, I rethunk. (lol)

Could you provide a better timeline for the work done on your van. If I read
correctly, you said you turned in an IMS converted van for additional
conversion. Is this true and what was the 4/6 week for? Can you advise what
was in the new contract?

  Thanks
  W
