JUST THOUGHT I'D GIVE AN UPDATE ON MY VAN. I DID RECEIVE IT ON AUG 8TH. I
DROVE W/ THE INSTRUCTOR ON AUG 9TH FOR 3 HOURS AND EVERYTHING SEEMED GREAT.
STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT AND WHEN IT TURNED GREEN MY VAN WOULDN'T GO! THE BACKUP
BRAKE SYSTEM LOCKED UP, IT WOULDN'T ACCELERATE, IT WOULDN'T SHIFT, IT WOULDN'T
RELEASE MY EZ LOCK, AND TO TOP IT OFF IT WOULDN'T TURN OFF! NO I'M NOT
KIDDING!

AFTER SETTING AT THE LIGHT FOR AN HOUR THE WRECKER GOT IT LOADED AND BROUGHT
IT TO MY HOUSE. INDEPENDENT DRIVING SYSTEMS FROM HOUSTON CAME ON THE 10TH
AND TOOK IT BACK TO HOUSTON. THEY TELL ME IT WAS A BLOWN CIRCUIT BREAKER,
LOOSE
GROUND WIRE AND BAD CONNECTION OF WIRING FROM MY IMS TO IDS. IT'S READY BUT
THEY CAN'T TELL ME WHEN THEY WILL DELIVER IT. OH, AND THEY'RE EXPECTING
HURRICANE DEAN TO ARRIVE THIS WEEK.

Hi Nicki,
I know how long you've waited for your van and the excitement but I'd be
leery to accept this van at all! A bad connection...what else have they done
wrong that you don't know of yet? There is an emergency switch that an ab
person
can pull to release you from the EZ lock in case of another bad connection,
or electrical fire. I understand these vans are modified but is it possible
for legal action to have another built? I've had MANY problems with mine but
it's a 94. At the present my headlights don't work & I just got my lift
repaired.
Best Wishes<-----seriously :-)
