Dave,
I had to quit driving after my legs were amputated. Both hips have been
disarticulated, too. It sure changes your sitting balance, doesn't it?

My doctor refused to write me a prescription for Viagra. He said it would be
like putting a new flagpole on a condemned building.

  Hi Nicki,

Congratulations on your new van. Drive with care but enjoy your ride! If I
know I will need to move after sitting awhile, I'll flex just to give the
muscles a signal before I'd move, and that helped. I haven't driven since the
dis-articulation of my leg in '89!

  With Love,

I FINALLY GOT MY VAN BACK LAST FRIDAY. THEY LEFT THE GAS SETTING PAST EMPTY
BUT HOPEFULLY I'M DONE WITH IDS - INDEPENDENT DRIVING SYSTEMS.

IT IS WONDERFUL TO HAVE THIS INDEPENDENCE BACK. ONLY THING IS AFTER DRIVING
20 MINUTES ON THE INTERSTATE MY MUSCLES SAY NO WHEN I MAKE MY 1ST TURN. SPASM
CITY. I THINK IT'S FROM BEING PRETTY MUCH IN ONE POSITION THEN TRYING TO MOVE
SUDDENLY. ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCE THIS? I'M FINE JUST GOING INTO TOWN A FEW
MILES.
