Mirilax works well for me. No cramps. I take three scoops in drinks the day 
before and use a bisocodyl suppository about 15 minutes befor i get on my 
commode. No hemmeroids, no real problems. Do not take a narcotic within 6 hours 
of your planned BM. Drink lots of water. Eat some greens. 
Mirilax is a must if you take narcotics.
