I don't think aspirin is advised for flu. Especially for young people. I
think it can lead to Reyes Syndrome.

With my vast knowledge of medicine I can say with confidence, "I don't
know." Have you been around anyone with the Flu? Do you shake hands a lot? If
you do, stop it! Disgusting way to greet people. Shaking hands is about as
smart as licking each other. The flu is actually hard to spot untill its
widespread.
If I were you I would take some aspirin for the low temp and drink lots of
fluids and get lots of rest. Theres no pill or cure. All you can do is make
yourself comfortable.
    Good luck.

    Best wishes and my prayers.
    john
