That is really cool that you like Windows Vista , my brother took it off my
laptop as that came with Windows Vista , because I had heard negative things
about it. What dragon do you use on your XP ? I use Dragon nine but I have
XP. It makes me so mad when Dragon will not wake up after it has been
rebooted. Dragon 8 seems to wake up and go to sleep much easier. I have
trained
and trained with no success on Dragon 9.
Are you saying with Windows Vista, that you do not use Dragon at all.
It is wonderful that you could type the entire letter with only three
corrections.

I am using Microsoft Vista, and after six months I hate it when I have to go
back to Windows XP and Dragon Naturallyspeaking. Vistas speech recognition
is very intuitive, and even if I do not train it to learn the new words I use,
if learns them by itself. Since I have absolutely no way, other than a mouth
stick, to press a button I really appreciate being able to utilize the
entire computer by voice.
I still do not like that it will not stay asleep, and will wake up and typed
with utter abandon whatever is being said. J For those of you who can push
a button, it would be simple to turn the microphone off and then back on when
needed. But I have found a way around that works for me at the present time
and until Microsoft comes out with a patch, I will live with it.
Haven’t forgotten about the phone, just have not had the time to go try one
out. But I think it will be another Sony Ericsson-probably the 800 series. I
will let you know as soon as I get the new phone.
Joan
PS: I had to correct three words in the above document.
